Cap Taillat

Treasure of the peninsula of Saint Tropez, discover the Cape Taillat by boat! Separated from the continent by an isthmus of sand called also tombolo, Cape Taillat lies between two other headlights of the littoral: Cape Camarat and Cape Lardier. Classified by the Conservatoire du Littoral for its splendid landscapes, its rich flora and fauna, Cape Taillat owes its reputation to a preserved nature. Cape Taillat: lush vegetation and turquoise sea

Nicknamed "the little Caribbean", Cape Taillat is easily accessible by boat or sailboat. This is why many boaters from Saint-Tropez make it a privileged destination when they go out to sea. Located at several nautical miles from Saint-Tropez, the cape offers you many possibilities of anchoring all more exceptional than each other. Anchor along paradise beaches where white sand mixed with turquoise water will remind you of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean.

Cape Taillat offers two distinct anchorages: an anchorage in the bay of Briande and an anchorage between the two capes Camarat and Taillat. Whatever the anchorage you choose, you will enjoy a relaxing and natural setting in the middle of the Côte d'Azur : you just have to choose where to stop! Want to enjoy the places alone? As for many touristic places of the St Tropez and Var in general, the sites recover their calm at the end of the day and in the early evening so do not hesitate to extend your pleasure to savor the beauty of the places fully.

But beware: if the anchorages are rather well sheltered from the mistral and the winds of North, they are advised against Eastern winds.

A massif and beaches to see

From the sea you will certainly have the leisure to see splendid beaches of fine sand and a verdant nature. If you set foot on the ground, you can then go on the adventure following the coastal path or hike in the massif which has several marked trails. At the turn of your escapade you will be able to cross many species of birds. To date 80 species have been identified, of which 71 are protected. You can also cross Hermann's turtles who come to lay their eggs on the peninsula. Admire also the variety of the surrounding flora: dwarf palm, blue thistle, umbrella pines or even prickly pears, Cape Taillat is a true natural gold mine!
